Sure, West Virginia won the 2007 NIT. But, the championship t-shirts worn by the team during the post-game celebration said "West Virgina" (note the missing 'i'). You know, if they misspell the name of your whole state, that's not good. The maker of the t-shirts and WVU vied for who's not responsible for the mistake. Good luck with that. The only saving grace: wow, that could have been a lot worse.
